Separate percentage and fixed fees

Amazon fees include percentage-based referral fees and fixed closing or fulfillment costs.

Treat each fee independently to avoid underpricing.

• Fulfillment or weight handling fee

Use your category rate card

Fee rates vary by category and price band. Always refer to your seller rate card.

If you change categories or price bands, update your fee assumptions immediately.

Account for GST on fees

Amazon applies GST on most fees. Add a GST percentage on top of the fee total.

This is a common place where profit leaks if ignored.
